This is the third Tutorial from a series that will establish the Project Fuze. The idea of Fuze is to show you all my CG workflow from modeling to final render making this Gun model from Johnson Ting Neo Japan Universe.
It will be split into 4 parts. This one is about HardSurface Uvs Unwrap in Maya. I'll explain you my process and the tools I use for unwrap UVs on the grenade and the Gun model.
I advise you to start by Fuze01 and 02 in which I explain all the base of my tool set. This will help you to better understand my philosophy about modeling, especially for HardSurface stuffs and use of Maya.
This Tuto is recommended for a beginner/intermediate level in Maya. Here I work with Maya 2016.
